Ducato '02 is now back from the garage and the bill was half that quoted as they didn't need to remove the gearbox and so the clutch wasn't replaced. A new wiper motor couldn't be sourced from anywhere so the old one was rebuilt and all works fine now. Speed working again after having a new driver/transducer fitted. The vehicle was a Fiat Ducato 2004 2.8 JTD with a repetitive complaint of poor starting. The engine would crank at good speed but took a while before it eventually fired, and once started the vehicle drove fine. The customer was adamant that this problem only reared its head after a cam belt failure and major top-end repair work.

Hi folks, when returning from a trip with my motorhome on a Ducato 2005 2.8jtd chassis the engine temperature gauge indicator pointer arm started to rise and fall from normal, which is about the 9 O'clock mark on the gauge jumping about and stopping at various positions between normal and going to and sitting at the red marker

Shortly after buying it I noticed the oil level was higher than it should be so I drained some out to get it back to 'max'. All was well until recently the oil light has started flickering under light exceleration.
